Fieldwork Management

Fieldwork is where a well-designed study either holds together or quietly comes apart. We put experienced field managers on every project, monitor interviews as they happen rather than reading about them afterwards, and escalate a problem the day it appears.

You get one accountable operation across every methodology and market in the study — not a chain of local vendors each reporting on their own terms.

  • Multi-methodology execution: CATI, CAPI, online, IHUT, ethnography
  • Real-time quota tracking and interviewer performance monitoring
  • Documented quality protocols at every fieldwork stage
  • Rapid mobilisation: 24–48 hour project launch capability

Our capabilities

What our fieldwork management service covers

We own the workflow end to end, which is what makes a single point of accountability possible rather than just claimable.

Interviewer selection and briefing

Interviewers are matched to the market and the subject, briefed against your questionnaire, and assessed on pilot interviews before the study opens properly.

Live quota and completion tracking

Quota cells, completion rates and incidence are visible while fieldwork is running, so the shape of the sample is managed rather than reported on at the end.

Interview monitoring and back-checking

Live listen-in on CATI, accompanied visits on CAPI and structured back-checking against a defined share of completed interviews.

Multi-methodology execution

CATI, CAPI, online, in-home usage testing, central location testing and ethnographic fieldwork, run under one project plan.

Local partner management

Where a market is better served by a specialist local partner, we contract, brief and audit them — and stay accountable to you for what they deliver.

Rapid mobilisation

A defined launch path that gets straightforward studies into field within 24 to 48 hours of sign-off, without skipping briefing or pilot stages.

Included in every project

Standard on every engagement, not an upgrade

The same six things are included whichever service a project starts from. They are the reason our quotes look like they do.

Screening design

We work through your screener with you before fieldwork opens — quota alignment, incidence estimation and disqualification logic, agreed in writing.

Multi-source recruitment

Our own panel across core markets plus a vetted partner network reaching 35+ countries. No single source carries a project; diversity of sourcing is what keeps the sample honest.

Layered quality assurance

Screener validation, digital fingerprinting against duplicates, automated response scoring, analyst review and post-field back-checking where the study calls for it.

Confirmation and scheduling

Reminder workflows for qualitative work, with standby replacements held as standard so a no-show does not become a gap in your data.

Incidence reporting

Funnel data and incidence rates before and during fieldwork, so a feasibility problem reaches you while there is still time to act on it.

A named project manager

One person accountable from brief to delivery, with daily field updates — not a shared inbox and not a ticket queue.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions — fieldwork management

How fast can fieldwork start?
Straightforward single-market studies can be in field within 24 to 48 hours of a signed brief and approved screener. Multi-country studies with translation typically take three to five working days.
What reporting do I get while fieldwork runs?
Daily field updates as standard, with completion, quota and incidence by market, plus an immediate escalation whenever a quota cell or an incidence rate is heading somewhere the brief did not anticipate.
Do you use your own interviewers or subcontract?
Both, depending on the market. Where we subcontract we name the partner, audit their work against the same protocols and remain the single point of accountability.
How is interviewer quality controlled?
Pilot assessment before launch, live monitoring during fieldwork, structured back-checking of completed interviews, and performance tracking by interviewer across the project.
Can you run a study already in field elsewhere?
Yes. We regularly pick up markets that have stalled with another supplier. We will be straight with you about what can be salvaged and what has to be re-fielded.

Send us the brief. We will tell you what is feasible.

Feasibility, incidence and costs within one working day — including the markets where your target, as written, is not achievable.
