Qualitative Recruitment

Qualitative recruitment is judged on one thing: whether the right eight people are in the room at seven o'clock. Everything else is process in service of that.

We screen, re-screen closer to the session, confirm by two channels, and hold standby participants who have been through the same screener — because a replacement who does not fit the profile is not a replacement.

  • Focus group, IDI and triad recruitment
  • Online community and ethnography participants
  • Re-screening and confirmation before every session
  • Standby participants held as standard

Our capabilities

What our qualitative recruitment service covers

We own the workflow end to end, which is what makes a single point of accountability possible rather than just claimable.

Focus groups and triads

Group recruitment with composition managed across the sessions, not just within them, so segments are not accidentally concentrated in one group.

In-depth interviews

IDI recruitment for consumers, professionals and clinicians, scheduled around the respondent rather than the moderator where seniority requires it.

Online communities

Participants recruited for multi-day and multi-week communities, with engagement expectations set at recruitment so attrition is designed against.

Ethnography and accompanied shops

In-home and in-context participants, including household member consent and clear briefing on what the visit involves.

Re-screening and confirmation

Re-screened close to the session against the same criteria, then confirmed by two channels. Screening drift between recruitment and session is the usual cause of an off-profile group.

Incentive handling

Incentive levels set to the audience and market, paid promptly and reconciled, including handling for regulated audiences with reporting obligations.

Included in every project

Standard on every engagement, not an upgrade

The same six things are included whichever service a project starts from. They are the reason our quotes look like they do.

Screening design

We work through your screener with you before fieldwork opens — quota alignment, incidence estimation and disqualification logic, agreed in writing.

Multi-source recruitment

Our own panel across core markets plus a vetted partner network reaching 35+ countries. No single source carries a project; diversity of sourcing is what keeps the sample honest.

Layered quality assurance

Screener validation, digital fingerprinting against duplicates, automated response scoring, analyst review and post-field back-checking where the study calls for it.

Confirmation and scheduling

Reminder workflows for qualitative work, with standby replacements held as standard so a no-show does not become a gap in your data.

Incidence reporting

Funnel data and incidence rates before and during fieldwork, so a feasibility problem reaches you while there is still time to act on it.

A named project manager

One person accountable from brief to delivery, with daily field updates — not a shared inbox and not a ticket queue.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions — qualitative recruitment

How many standby participants do you hold?
Two per group as standard, fully screened, briefed and available at the venue or on the call — not a list of names to phone if someone drops out.
Can you recruit for in-person sessions in our markets?
Yes, including venue sourcing where you need it. Tell us the market and we will confirm coverage before you build the timeline around it.
Do you recruit professional and clinical respondents for qual?
Yes. Specialist qualitative recruitment is a large part of our work, with licence and role verification applied before the session.
What about respondents who have taken part before?
Participation history is tracked and enforced against your exclusion window. If you need genuinely fresh participants, say so in the brief and we will recruit to it.

Send us the brief. We will tell you what is feasible.

Feasibility, incidence and costs within one working day — including the markets where your target, as written, is not achievable.
